Third-stage dust removal in steelmaking refers to air pollution caused by two sources: dust that cannot be captured by the primary and secondary dust removal systems and thus overflows, as well as unorganized dust emissions from various process nodes in the steelmaking process. This pollution manifests in two aspects: on the one hand, dust overflows through the top air windows of the steelmaking workshop and pollutes the external environment; on the other hand, it contaminates the on-site working environment.
Through multiple on-site investigations and researches, Tangshan Shengshi Environmental Protection (SSEP) has designed a complete and reliable treatment scheme for third-stage dust removal in steelmaking. The core measure of the third-stage dust removal is to seal the high top air windows of the workshop and connect the third-stage dust removal pipe network to these sealed windows, converting them into top-suction gas collection hoods. The overflowing dust here is introduced into the bag filter through the pipe network by the negative pressure of the fan for purification, and then discharged up to the emission standards.
Since most of the third-stage dust in steelmaking is high-temperature flue gas, it will naturally rise to these top-suction hoods even without the negative pressure of the induced draft fan, requiring less power. Secondly, through scientific pipe network design, the process nodes in steelmaking that have not been integrated into any dust removal system are incorporated into the third-stage dust removal system, meeting the requirements of ultra-low emission standards.
